Rugs, Rugs and more Rugs!

Once you have settled on you color palette and dream pieces of furniture, it’s time to make room for a rug in your space! While choosing the right rug, it can be a bit overwhelming. The one thing most people struggle with is finding the right size. In the living room, typically a 9’x12’ or 8’x10’ is a safe bet. In your bedroom you should choose an 6’x9’ or 8’x10’ for a queen size bed or a 8’x10’ or 9’x12’ for a king size.

When it comes to the type of rug you should chose, I always believe in a good neutral. Here are some great options for neutral interior rugs for your home! Sometimes a little pattern is good but just a simple textured rug can add so much to the space.

Runners are a perfect addition to every kitchen! They are a great way to add a pop of color or pattern to the space. Your cabinets and hardware may stay the same but accessories always have the ability to change. Rugs are sometimes forgotten in this space but truly make such a difference!
