Chad Wood's Recreation of Shay Mitchell's Dreamy Home

Shay Mitchell’s redecorated home is being fawned over by designers everywhere. There’s no question in my mind why that’s happening. The space gives off a warm, eclectic and chic vibe, a difficult combination to create.

Chad Wood tends to lean toward a clean, sleek look, while incorporating the most beautiful vintage finds. This home reflects just that. A few photos of the more simplistic and sleek living and dining areas are below.

Onto the kitchen. This room is a classic. It’s sleek, clean, and bright with the coziest breakfast nook.

One of my favorite parts of this kitchen is the choice of lighting. It’s almost as if the room was designed around the multiple chandeliers. They bring the entire kitchen together. The focus that Shay and Chad had on the different types of lighting, the mix of glam and vintage, as well as the black and white vibe, really reminds me of a recent interview I did with Hudson Valley Lighting Group. What would this article be without mentioning Shay’s daughter’s gorgeous nursery? It’s arguably my favorite room in the house. The dusty pink and white with gold and rattan accents are sweet, calming and any little girl’s dream. This room is major nursery goals.

Lastly, a cozy living area that brings warmth and depth to the entire house. I need to get my hands on one of those dark green couches!

Chad and Shay’s collaboration on this project is perfect. With her personality and his style, the entire house is a mix of old and new, light and dark and modern and classic. When can we move in?
