An L.A. oasis… this home is sophisticated, chic, masculine and modern! Owner of the home and former TV executive, Sheila Bouttier found a new passion for design and helped build this home from the ground up. Her home is filled with midcentury gems interspersed with a handful of antiques. It is truly a work of art with uncanny attention to detail. Let’s go take a look!

For starters, this living room is incredible! The vaulted ceiling with the beams in conjunction with this light fixture is simply beautiful. I personally love all of the furniture brought into this space. Each piece is one of a kind and reflects aspects of the garden that is brought in through the huge glass double doors.

Wow! These black wall are a perfect touch that make such a statement in this dining room. We also adore this beautiful light fixture! What a cool element to bring into the space.

In the spacious, sun-filled kitchen there is not one thing we dislike! We love the earthtones brought into this space. The kitchen cabinet color is the perfect muted green. It truly brings the outdoors in.

There are SO many things we’re are loving in this bathroom! For one, this mirror is insane. We love the unique shape and height. Also, how cool is this floating steel vanity and vintage stone sink? I mean c’mon, it doesn’t get much better than this! Every detail in this bathroom is so special!

I am a sucker for a beautiful staircase and this one is no exception! We love the simplicity of this staircase with the white skirt and wooden treads and handrail. The double height ceiling creates the perfect amount of drama with the large windows looking out into the garden.

This sitting area off of the master bedroom seems so sophisticated and inviting. The dark grey paint selection for the walls and ceiling make the space feel so cozy!
