Home Crush: A Charming Alabama Tudor Style Home
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with family and friends. I can’t believe we have finally made it to 2021! Woo! 2020 was quite the year. This week we are back with new blogposts. Of course, starting off with another “Home Crush”! Today we are taking a look at artist and interior designer, William McLure’s home in Birmingham, Alabama. This home is full of Southern charm with a modern and eclectic twist. Let’s go take a look!
I am in love with this bright and airy corner of the dining room! This room is filled with an abundance of natural light and holds so many treasures. Obviously, the art in the space is the main focal point! This ornate gold frame is so gorgeous and truly makes the art stand out while tying it in with the antique table and chairs.
I always love a clean white kitchen! The use of this narrow antique table was a great way to utilize the space and display dishware in this small kitchen.
Okay… y’all know how much I love black and white. I am obsessed with this fireplace situation. The black walls really make this mantel and art above the fireplace pop!
This might be one of my favorite shots of the home. The best part has to be the arch into the dining room, absolutely love this detail! I also think it’s super cool how McLure used various pedestals throughout the space to display sculptures and vases. Also, how awesome are these stools?!
Another beautiful room in the home! I love the mix of modern and traditional in this space. The free floating nightstands and four post bed are sleek while the art and chair are classic. Both styles compliment each other beautifully in this bedroom.
Once again, I love the black walls, especially in this bathroom. Another great feature in this space is the archway leading to the clawfoot bathtub. This bathroom is so unique, I am totally obsessed!
Happy Monday! I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. Come back next week to take a look at another dreamy home!
