Designer Crush: Jake Arnold
Happy Monday y’all! In today’s post, I wanted to do something different and feature Jake Arnold, a very talented interior designer! Jake is also one of the co-founders of The Expert, a website that connects clients seeking design guidance with renowned professionals. Jake's style is very unique and tasteful, combining raw materials, like marble and ceramics, with mid-century modern, contemporary furniture and natural earth tones. Jake's decorating style incorporates sleek coffee table books, candles, and stoneware, as well as fresh greenery. To get a similar appearance, I've picked a few products! Let's take a look at his work and see some of the things I selected.
For this curated collection of products, I drew inspiration from the decorative items found in many of his photos. The ceramic dining and mango wood serving sets add an artisanal touch to your kitchen, which can be displayed on open shelving or glass-front cabinet. Many of Jake’s living room and entryway decorations also influenced my finds. I was attracted to his use of handcrafted candles and intriguing pottery. I thought that the oblong vase looked handspun especially when paired with the black jasmine candle. The metal candlesticks would add the perfect touch to a dining table or a mantle. A bouquet of dried flowers or greenery will look beautiful in the matte black stoneware jug, paired with the black pedestal bowl on a coffee table.
Thank you for joining us for this Monday’s blog post. Have a great rest of your week! Xoxo
