Home Crush: Minnesota Family Home
Welcome back to the blog for another Home Crush! This week we are featuring a 12,000 SF Minnesota home designed by Lauren Buxbaum Gordon of Nate Berkus Associates. The designer had the challenge of making this large home feel grounded and family-friendly. Come take a look to see how she made this possible!
This picture almost doesn’t look real to me. It’s so beautiful! The clients and designer strived to use eco-friendly, local materials throughout the home, including these reclaimed beams on the ceiling. They did not want it to feel too fancy, so they opted for a white brick with dark grout to surround the kitchen.
I love the opposition between the rustic table and the glam chandelier. And the wallpaper brings such a fun, bold element to the space.
I love this home office space! The wallpaper is so cute and that brass chandelier! The designer kept things consistent with black frame doors and windows throughout. I love how these doors bring so much light into this room.
What a dream of a closet! The blue velvet seating is so vibrant and striking in the otherwise neutral space.
I love how the designer kept things mostly neutral and natural throughout the home with minimal pops of color thrown in certain spaces. This master bathroom is so serene and peaceful looking out into the nature surrounding the home. I am really liking how the mirrors are hung and the stone framing the windows brings so much interest.
I hope you all enjoyed this weeks Home Crush! It is truly such a captivating home. Have a great week! Xoxo
