Home Crush: Home Bar
Happy Monday and Happy Home Crush! Today is a fun one! We are going to be looking at a swanky indoor/outdoor home bar by Dallas-based designer Jean Liu. It is such a fun space and shows how to take an otherwise unused space and make it fun and functional. Let’s take a look!
What could have been just unused hallway space was turned into this amazing “sipping room.” I love the color scheme of this room with the dark, moody wall and fun pops of pink. The custom benches have such unique shapes and make such great use of space in the room.
Through the doorway, it opens up to this fully functional wet bar. It is perfect for entertaining guests. I can’t get over this floor tile!
Right outside is the “breezeway,” which also could have been a totally unused space. between the home and the garage. The designer turned it into this outdoor dining area right off the wet bar room to make it useful indoors and out. What a beautiful view!
I love how they carried the color scheme into the outside as well. They used wallpaper panels to create this fun collage on the long wall behind the table. This is a creative and cost effective way to decorate a large wall.
What a fun and unique space! I think all homes could use their own bar, don’t you? Have a great week! Xoxo
