Home Crush: Glamorous Manhattan Apartment
Happy Monday & Happy Home Crush! Kat Tanita, a fashion blogger best known for her drool-worthy closet, designed her own 1920’s Parisian Brownstone. Kat expertly blended classic European themes with bright, one-of-a-kind additions. Let's go inside and see what we've got!
Kat's luxurious living room pays homage to the West Village's history and charm with stylish, neutral furnishings that give the area a warm, classic feel! Restoration Hardware, One Kings Lane, Wisteria, and Williams Sonoma provide the majority of her furnishings. Antiqued and thrifted décor from local stores contrast wonderfully with the modern furniture pieces and add an overall eclectic feel to the space.
A modest white table and exquisite chairs complement the snug eating area. Art from her excursions to different locations, such as her Hermes scarf from Florence, make up her gallery walls, as seen above the bar cart and breakfast nook.
Dark walls and oak wood tones give the bedroom a moody vibe. The lovely floor-length mirror expands the room and reflects the lovely daylighting from the window over her bed. Mutliple textures are used throughout her bedroom, adding depth and charm.
My favorite feature of her house is her closet. Because the apartment is small, she made do with under-bed storage and Ikea shelves to display her lovely shoe collection.
Her nightstand's decor adds a glamorous touch to her apartment's overall unique character.
I hope you all loved this weeks Home Crush! Xoxo
