Home Crush: Lauren Conrad's Pacific Palisades Home

Happy Monday! Lauren Conrad's stunning sanctuary home, located on the shore of Malibu, is today's home crush. Conrad, dubbed the "Martha Stewart of our generation," has styled her home to be clean and fresh, with personal touches strewn about. She believes that your home should reflect your personal style; having those pieces gives it that individualized look. Her home has a bohemian vibe to it, with clean lines, natural materials, and interesting patterns. So, how about we have a look?

Her living room has such an exquisite diverse feel about it! Her antiques and personal belongings give her space a relaxed, stylish vibe. The colorful patterns and colors provide a lively sense, but they aren't overpowering because she contrasts them with a clean white background on the walls and upholstered furniture.

I'm totally obsessed with this house's built-in charm! The arabesque detailing on the arches around the home and the arched entryways in the hallways are just darling! Brown doors aren't generally my favorite, but in this Spanish colonial home, they go so well with the eclectic flair she's incorporated everywhere.

Natural textiles and materials, such as tan leather, a caned rocking chair, and the exposed legs on the side chairs, contrast beautifully with the sleek lines of that stunning fireplace. Her accent pieces have given her home an eclectic character that compliments the colonial architecture. Her antique gold coffee table and vases bring a taste of her particular style into her home. Finally, the uniqueness and beauty of those windows are enough to make a statement on their own! They're just stunning.

The arabesque detailing on those arches is also apparent in her kitchen! The kitchen has a refined, elegant, and sophisticated feeling courtesy of the vintage china and gold chandelier. Lauren’s dining table and chairs, on the other hand, are made of light natural wood, coupling with the clean white cabinets. The kitchen's open shelving makes baking a breeze, with easily accessible utensils and equipment. The room's individuality is enhanced by the counter-to-ceiling subway tiling, and her sleek cabinets are simply magnificent!
